Meet Caitlin

Thank you for visiting my website and exploring the options on how I might be able to encourage and support you with your wellness goals.

To make this a bit more personal, I want to share with you a little of my integrative health journey thus far. Starting from the age of four, I have been active and involved in team sports. I always had a passion for health and wellness growing up. I was a free-spirited and expressive child that needed a positive outlet for all my energy. My childhood revolved around gymnastics, club soccer practices and/or tournaments, and volleyball games. By the time my freshman year of college came around, I had decided to make a tough transition and stop playing sports. To keep active, instead, I discovered that Pilates was in sync with my personal "style" of exercise at the time. I initially found Pilates by taking a mat Pilates class at my local 24 Hour Fitness gym and additionally started practicing a variety of Pilates dvds on my own in my college dorm room. Throughout college, I fell in love with the positive way Pilates helped with my core development, flexibility, and overall injury prevention.

In 2015, I felt passionate about sharing my journey with others. I faced a few health challenges in my college years and quickly realized I needed to make profound changes if I wanted to have long-term health and happiness. This "reality check" felt confusing and vulnerable for me to accept and learn how to best adjust with. However, overcoming my own hardships has inspired me to help anyone else learn and grow. I have appreciated all the support I have gained in my journey and know how it can feel as if you are "alone" navigating personal challenges. I think it makes all the difference when there are proper resources, support systems and coaches/guides in place. It is very helpful to have someone or a likeminded team in place that can truly understand what it is you are going through and encourage accountability. I am most excited about moving forward with clients towards their goals. Maintaining a vibrant, healthy lifestyle is highly relevant to me. I am passionate about seeing people become their fullest potential in life. Therefore, I focus on integrating Pilates as a mind-body stress reduction technique and strength training exercise to help people of all ages establish optimal health.

I completed my certification as a Fitness Nutrition Coach from National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA). Upon my certification completion, I then specialized in Pilates, becoming certified as a PMA accredited instructor in classical mat Pilates, (Joseph Pilates method) through The Equinox Pilates Institute in Westwood CA. In addition to teaching Pilates, I received my B.A. in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication and my M.A. in Clinical Psychology both at Azusa Pacific University. Combining my education, various training, and life experiences, I hope to further integrate and promote the components of fitness, health, and wellness.
